Columbus has a new guessing game: Who’s holding the $14 million winning lottery ticket?

The newest Hoosier Lottery multimillionaire bought the ticket in Columbus, but the lucky winner has yet to step forward.

The winning ticket for Saturday night’s Hoosier Lotto drawing was purchased at the JayC Food Store in West Hill Shopping Center. The winning Hoosier Lotto numbers are: 15-19-31-33-42-47.

While a number of travelers stop by the supermarket on their way to Nashville or Bloomington, JayC Marketing Director Mark Combs anticipates that the winner will be local.

“We have a lot more local traffic than we have passers-by,” said Combs. “Travelers usually go to convenience stores to buy lottery tickets, so I’m inclined to believe it’s going to be somebody in the Columbus area.”

“It’s always nice to have someone in the local community see some of that good luck,” Combs said.

Around town Sunday, news spread about the $14 million ticket.

As Courtney Zeigler was checking her scratch off lottery tickets at the Columbus Downtown Grocery, she daydreamed how she’d feel if she had just learned she was $14 million richer.
