Hunter McIntosh, Columbus North

The Republic’s Athlete of the Year for baseball set multiple single-season records while helping the Bull Dogs to a 24-3 record. Recently named the team’s MVP, McIntosh batted .388 and scored 25 runs, while also helping North on the pitching mound with a .076 Earned Run Average to garner an overall 6-1 mark. The 2012 graduate was named to the All-Conference Indiana Team.

Daniel Ayers, Columbus North

Also an All-Conference Indiana selection, Ayers went 10-3 on the mound and struck out a school-record 120 batters on his way to a 1.33 ERA.The junior was the ace of this year’s pitching staff.

Devin Mann, Columbus North

The freshman wasted little time making noise at the varsity level, hitting a robust .418 and scoring 16 times. He was given the Big Stick Award by his teammates and joined McIntosh and Ayers on the All-Conference Indiana squad.
