Orlie Leo Barker, 81, of Pensacola, Fla., died Sunday, June 17, 2012, at Covenant Hospice Center in Pensacola.
Mr. Barker served his country in both the Navy and the Army, retiring from the Indiana National Guard as a Chief Warrant Officer. He was a member of Scenic Hill Church of Christ in Pensacola.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh with the Rev. Nathan Goen officiating. Calling will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Indiana National Guard Ceremonial Unit.

Born in Columbia, KY, Feb. 21, 1931, Mr. Barker was the son of Arthur L. Barker and Ollie (Burton) Barker. His first wife, Bertha Barker, died in 1988. He later married Dolores Belcher. She survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Linda (Pic) Hadley of Edinburgh; a stepdaughter, Julie (Lloyd) Patterson of Pensacola, Fla.; a stepson, Gary (Terri) Melton of Georgetown, IN; brothers, Marvin Barker of McEwen, TN, Calvin Barker of Edinburgh, IN, and Johnnie Barker of Edinburgh, IN; a sister, Sally Barker of McMinnville, TN; and three grandchildlren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife; a son, Dean Barker; a daughter, Beverly Vincent; a stepson, Dennis Melton; brothers, Verlon, Arlon and Donald Barker; and sisters, Delcie Branigin, Velma Keller, Verda Lovett and Kathy King.
