Kuber N. Maharjan, 54, of Marilyn Street, died at 4:57 p.m. Friday, June 29, 2012 at Columbus Regional Hospital.

He was a Professor in the computer department at the Purdue College of Technology, Columbus campus.

Funeral service will be from 2 to 4 p.m. today at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the service.

Kuber was born Dec. 1, 1957, in Nepal, the son of Bekha N. and Danmaya Maharjan. He married Meena Maharjan June 27, 1994.

Survivors include his parents, of Columbus; sons, Kamal Maharjan and Kabir Maharjan, both of Columbus; a daughter, Matina Maharjan of Columbus; a brother, Raju Maharjan of Greenwood; and sisters, Saraswati Dangol of Nepal, Laxmi Maharjan of Nepal, Durga Maharjan of Nepal, Sita Devkota of California and Basu Maharjan of Indianapolis.
